As unprecedented pressures from climate change coupled with rapidly changing resiliency and disaster relief funding priorities at the federal government are spurring conversations about how to address resiliency of our cities and the built environment.
Syracuse University invites you to participate in a cross-industry invitation only workshop to engage in conversations on existing and emerging approaches including:
1. State and Local Resiliency planning, policies and programs.
2. Addressing deferred maintenance of infrastructure and needs to build up resiliency designs.
3. Public financing approaches to energy and climate resiliency.
4. Issues to government credit ratings resulting from higher climate risks.
5. How will state and local governments address gaps due to federal policy changes?
We will start of our discussions with an incredible panel of thought leaders / practionners in this space who will share what their organizations are doing and where there are opportunities for public-private-academic partnerships to support local and state governments and the communities they serve.
