Researchers from the Dynamic Sustainability Lab recently completed a comprehensive study of the USDA's Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance Program also known as the 9003 Loan Guarantee Program. The research which was conducted throughout 2022 was aided by the generous input from financial and manufacturing leaders across the country who provided impactful insights and recommendations for this important loan guarantee program which will play a critical role for American manufacturers to support the transition to a net-zero carbon economy.
